Any User may choose to become a Player. Players may directly interface with the System at any time. They are limited to the perspective and parameters stated via that interface, as well as the conditions and limitations of their chosen pawn.
The System will generate Sessions. It will evolve and grow based on the input of the Players. However, the Players must operate within the boundaries established by the System.
At any time during a Session, a Player may choose to become an Observer. Once the change is made, the User may not interface with the System again until the termination of the session. Their chosen pawn becomes controlled by the System.
